Gafr Rural District (Persian: دهستان گافر) is in Gafr and Parmon District of Bashagard County, Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Sit.[3]

After the National Census of 2006, Bashagard District was separated from Jask County in the establishment of Bashagard County, which was divided into three districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Sardasht as its capital.[3]

At the National Census of 2011, its population was 3,220 in 893 households.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,808 in 762 households. The most populous of its 34 villages was Akharan, with 334 people.[2]
