English: Sir Matthew Decker, 1st Baronet (1679-1749) of Richmond Green in Surrey, a Dutch-born English merchant and economist who served as a Member of Parliament for Bishop's Castle in Shropshire from 1719 to 1722. Grandfather of the founder of the Fitzwilliam Museum. Portrait by Theodorus Netscher, possibly 1720, the known date of a portrait by the same artist of Sir Matthew Decker's famous pineapple, grown at Richmond, Surrey. See
