  • D: Oocyst containing sporokinetes in caecal content.
  • E: Sporocyst inside a digestive cell.
  • F: Mature sporocysts inside the gut contents.
  • G and H: Sporocysts in coxal fluid.
  • I: Star-shaped oocyst of H. stellata in the haemocoel of Amblyomma rotondatum.
