English: Illustrated title page. Cartouche with a young man's portrait (author?). "Interesse der Potentaten und Stände Europæ. Itzo mit einem neuen theil, und beij 50 Nerven, Discursen vermehrt In die wegen (?) ratione status, in Materia pacis et Belli gegen ein ander gesuchte Interesse vor augen gestellt wirdt. 1645". Title is guarded by a male and a female soldier. Lady Justice with sword and balance. "Cum gratia et privileg. S.C.M."

Henri Rohan duc de (1579-1638): Interesse der Potentaten und Stände Europæ: welche ratione status so wol deß Friedens als Kriegs, die vornehmste Potentaten bey 50. Jahre hero gegen einander gesucht und gehabt : sampt etlichen newen politischen Discursen, deren zwischen der Cron Spanien und Frankreich, in Kriegs und Friedenszeiten unter sich innerlichen natürlichen angebornen gehabten und noch habenden Eygenschaften und Antipathien : darinnen dann angezeigt wird, wie ein und anderer Stand sein Recht Intetresse wol beobachtet oder versaumet, und darauß erfolget auch, was vor ein natürlicher Widerwillen und Differenz allzeit zwischen beyden Nationen gewest / [Henri de Rohan].
