Summary

Description
English: My own work using MS Paint 2016, Photoshop June 2018 and Lunapic transparency editor. It depicts for illustrative purposes only the Vice and Rear Admirals command flag of the General of the Army's Squadron issued before the capture of Caidz by the English Navy in (1596) to be flown at the appropriate positions and is based upon the descriptions outlined by Perrin, W. G. (William Gordon) (1922). "Flags of Command:Admirals Flags". British flags, their early history, and their development at sea; with an account of the origin of the flag as a national device. Cambridge, England: Cambridge : The University Press. pp. 89-89 source here https://archive.org/stream/britishflagsthei00perrrich#page/88 Note: The cross of Saint George should actually be narrower based on another source image here: https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/gb~tudor.html#rochelle.
