The USS SOUTH DAKOTA (SSN 790) 2018 Harley-Davidson Street Glide motorcycle was created to commemorate the commissioning of South Dakota’s namesake submarine. The motorcycle was donated by Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the motorcycle was painted by South Dakota artist Mickey Harris. The left hand side of the bike is a tribute to battleship USS SOUTH DAKOTA and the right hand side of the bike commemorates the commissioning of submarine USS SOUTH DAKOTA.
