The Chateau Diaries is an online Vlog showcasing the life of Stephanie Jarvis, owner of Chateau De Lalande in Crozon-Sur-Vauvre France.

At 23 years of age Stephanie Jarvis and her best friend Nick moved from the UK to France and brought the 16th century Chateau De Lalande. Rennovations were needed to make the Chateau safe and liveable, those initial renovations depleted all of their funds at the time. Stephanie then hosted music workshops and guests to bring in funding for the running of the Chateau. In 2020 Stephanie started on online diary called "The Chateau Diaries" on YouTube showing her daily life living at the Chateau and the upkeep she was doing on her own. In time The Chateau Diaries channel gained popularity with her weekly videos. This began to provide a small income for renovations to the Chateau, the surrounding property and the Chateau's on site Chapel with volunteers coming from all over the world to help with renovations. In time "The Chateau Diaries" enabled Stephanie to run the Chateau as a bed and breakfast, employing a full time cook, gardener, and employ Stephanie's cousin Amaury who is a master carpenter now working on restorations. In the 19th century Chateau De Lalande suffered a fire which tore through one of the wings. The original character of that part of the Chateau was lost in the fire. The ongoing renovations to the Chateau aim to restore Chateau De Lalande to its former glory. In 2021 Stephanie employed Daniel Preston as gardener and groundskeeper for the Chateau. Dan became a beloved addition to the Chateau Diaries Channel known as "Dan the Gardener". Dan Preston already had his own YouTube Channel "Escape to Rural France". Stephanie and Dan remain good friends and feature regularly on each others YouTube channels. The Chateau Diaries continues to show the ongoing work, interesting characters, animals and daily life at Chateau De Lalande.
