Draft:Teletheia Christianity

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Teletheia Christianity or Teletheism is a movement of Christianity, an Abrahamic monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, also known as Yeshua Bar Maryam. The movement, which has a following of approximately 100 people worldwide, is considered one of the least followed. Its adherents are known as "Submitters" and they reject the doctrine of the Trinity, instead believing that Jesus was a human Messiah who was born in either 4 BCE or 5 BCE.

They claim that their movement was established by none other than Yeshua or Jesus. Their claims are this movement is the original Christianity followed by the Disciples, they worship one unique God. They have chains of narrators, this was inspired by the Islamic Riwayah system. They have their special churches named Beyt-El (lit: God's House), they reject some verses of the Bible and remove them or consider them as myths or metaphorical.

Etymology[edit]

The name Teletheia Christianity is derived from two Greek words Τέλεια Αλήθεια (Pronunciation: Téleia Alítheia).

Τέλεια means Perfect or Complete, & Αλήθεια means Truth or Reality, so Teletheia Christianity literally mean "Complete Truth of Christ's Creed".

This name was introduced by its founder Mesharet, in 2023.

Jesus and Peter
Jesus walking on Water by Po-Vodam
  • Rejection of the Trinity
  • Rejection of the concept of the Original Sin
  • Free Will
  • Christ's second coming
  • The Soul of Truth was not the Holy Ghost
  • Rejection of Crucifixion
  • No need of confessing

On Jesus:

Believing in the Virgin birth of Jesus is essential, they believe that Jesus is the only Messiah and performed miracles like 'Reviving', 'Walking on the Water', 'Feeding 5000 with the help of God', 'Healing', and etc.

Messiah never died but that crucifixion was a illusion, they also believe that when Jesus said, "I and God are One," was not a literal but a metaphorical statement.
