Sahil Reddy Bloom (born Jan. 5 1991) is an American investor, entrepreneur, public speaker, and social media personality. He is the founder of SRB Ventures and SRB Holdings.

Category:Education Bloom studied at Stanford University, graduating in 2013 with a bachelors degree in Economics and Sociology and in 2014 with a masters degree in Public Policy with Condoleezza Rice serving as his academic advisor.[1]

While at Stanford, Bloom for the Cardinals as a pitcher from 2009-2013. Bloom initially pursued a career in professional baseball but a was shoulder injury forced him to reconsider his options.[2] During his time with the Cardinals, he helped the team to 2 NCAA Super Regional appearances, while earning two PAC-12 All-Academic team awards in 2012 and 2013, respectively. He received the Bruce R. Cameron Memorial award in 2012 and 2013 for "exhibiting excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership"[3]

Bloom started working at Altamont Capital Partners in 2014 as an analyst, becoming vice president in 2018. In 2021 he stepped down as vice president to focus on his investment and holding companies as well as writing. He left Altamont completely in December 2022. During his time at Altamont, Bloom served on the board of several Altamont portfolio companies, including Fox Racing, Intermix, and Brixton.

In 2021 He founded SRB Holdings, a holding company comprising several companies, including Paperboy, HeyFriends!, and Viralcuts.[4]

In 2022 he founded the investment firm SRB Ventures which focuses on venture investments in startup companies.

Bloom started amassing an online following by writing on Twitter in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, which he later turned into his e-mail newsletter "The Curiosity Chronicle" which he sends out twice weekly.[5] He started hosting a podcast of the same name in 2021.

His first book "The 5 Types of Wealth" is expected to be released in 2024.[6]

Category:Personal life Sahil is of mixed heritage. Hiw mother is from Bangalore, India and his father is from The Bronx, New York City. He has one sister.[7]

Bloom married Elizabeth Gordon in 2016, whom he met while they were both in High School. On May 16 2022, their son Roman was born. They reside in New York City.

Bloom started running in 2023. On September 10 2023 he finished the Erie marathon in Pennsylvania in a time of 2:57:31.
