Hezekiah Oluboye Oladeji (Born 13 February 1967) is a Nigerian Prophet and the 5th General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church[1]

Early Life[edit]

Hezekiah Oladeji was born in Edun Abon Osun State on 13 February 1967 to parents who are of the Baptist Church[2]. He went to Baptist Primary School but couldn't continue because of an illness that affected his legs.

In 1983, he went to Osogbo to learn mechanic work as an apprentice. On his arrival to Osogbo, he gave his life to Jesus Christ and received healing of his legs and did away with crutches[3].

Ministry[edit]

He joined the Christ Apostolic Church in 1983 after he got his healing and devoted his life to God in Christ Apostolic Church. [4]

In 1985, he had a vision where he saw Jesus Christ and Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola calling him to ministry,[5] he was hesitant at first but later enrolled to Babajide School of Prophets and Evangelists in 1992 and became a full time minister in Christ Apostolic Church in 1996.[6]

Appointment[edit]

Hezekiah Oladeji was appointed as the 5th General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church after his predecessor, Prophet S.K Abiara retired in July 2017[7] and inaugurated in January 2018.

Personal Life[edit]

Hezekiah got married to his wife, Esther on October 17, 1994 who was a former Muslim and the marriage is blessed with children.

Mountain of Mercy, Erio-Ekiti[edit]

In 1998, God told Prophet Hezekiah to establish a new church at a prayer mountain that Joseph Ayo Babalola founded in Erio-Ekiti and observe an annual prayer program there named "Babalola Power Explosion Crusade"[8] which holds on the prayer mountain in the third of June every year.[9]

CAC National Praise[edit]

Christ Apostolic Church under the leadership of Pastor S.O Oladele and Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji held a national praise concert[10]at 4 venues, Abuja(2022), Lagos, Ikeji-Arakeji,[11] Ile-Ife( all in 2023) which featured gospel Ministers such as Dunsin Oyekan, Kunle Ajayi, Bob Fitts, Bola Are, Bidemi Olaoba, [12]Peterson Okopi, Adeyinka Alaseyori, amongst others.[13]
