The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro are a pair of Android smartphones designed, developed, and marketed by Google as part of the Google Pixel product line. They serve as the successor to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, respectively.
The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro was officially announced in late 2023 at the annual Made by Google event, and will be released in the United States in late 2023.

In December 2023, The Information reported that Google was planning to debut a new virtual assistant powered by its recently announced Gemini large language model, codenamed "Pixie", exclusively on the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro.[1][2]
