Westview High School is a secondary school located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The principal is Thomas Lee. The mascot is the Wolverine.

History[edit]

The creation of a new high school at the intersection of 156th and Ida streets in Northwest Omaha was added as a part of the Phase 2 Bond issue, approved by Omaha Public Schools voters in 2018.[3] Westview was completed in May 2023 and opened later in the year, serving grades nine through ten. Westview will have all four grades phased in starting with the 2024-2025 school year.[4]

Westview partially shares facilities with a YMCA, including a pool and exercise rooms.

Athletics[edit]

A female wrestler from Westview made finals for the Nebraska State Wrestling Tournament in 2023[5][6], highlighting a fast development in the schools athletic program.
