The Medal of the White Angel was a high award of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The award was established on December 4, 1998 after the adoption of the Law on Decorations of the FRY. It was awarded by the President of Yugoslavia. The medal was named after the famous medieval fresco of the White Angel from the Mileševa monastery near Prijepolje
