Introduction[edit]
MasonsMappingz is an American internet celebrity best known for his skill in making flag maps of the world on the hit sandbox game, Minecraft. He started this work in November 6th, 2022 when he uploaded his first geomapping video, How to build Portugal in Minecraft[3] Shortly after, he made his first progress on the Big Scale Map, which was contributed by numerous amounts of people.
Rise to Fame[edit]
In December 2022,[4] Mason was awarded a well-appreciated shoutout by much larger Youtuber Harildd,[5] which made him in the spotlight as an up-and-coming Geomapper. On April 2nd, 2023, Mason finished his Big Scale Map,[6] which was a tremendous achievement at the time, as the only other Geomapper to finish big scale was MC Atlas[7]
Notability[edit]
At this time in history, he was uploading relatively frequently until on September 15th, 2023, he started one his biggest series, Big Scale 1914.[8] This project ended up being amazing for the channel, which ended up hitting 1,000 subscribers shortly after Christmas Day. As of February 29th, 2024, MasonsMappingz has currently amassed 1,230 subscribers and continues to grow from now on.
