Kaymar Jordan is a distinguished Barbadian journalist and media executive. She served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Gleaner Company (Media) Limited in Jamaica, a position she held from 2019 until her resignation in October 2022. Under her leadership, the Gleaner underwent significant restructuring and modernization during the COVID-19 pandemic. She was the second female to hold this position in the company’s long history.

After her tenure at the Gleaner, Kaymar Jordan moved on to become the Managing Editor at Guardian Media Limited in Trinidad and Tobago, effective November 1, 2022. This role came as a part of her broader career that spans over two decades in various forms of media, including radio, television, print, and digital journalism.

Jordan's career in media began as a rookie reporter/sub at the Caribbean News Agency (CANA), and she has held several senior media positions, including stints as Editor-in-Chief at the Nation Publishing Company and CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Barbados Today. She also launched her own media consultancy firm after serving as CEO and editor-in-chief of Barbados' first online multimedia platform, Barbados TODAY.

Educationally, Jordan holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Communication Policy Studies from the City University of London and a Bachelor of Science degree in management from The University of the West Indies. Additionally, she served as a part-time lecturer in Mass Communications at the Barbados Community College.
