Early life and education[edit]
Jeff Dobson was born and raised in Canton, Georgia. He pursued higher education in several institutions, culminating in a Ph.D. in Geography.

- The University of Georgia: BA in English Literature (1965-1967); Ph.D. in Geography (1971-1977)

Career[edit]
Dobson has a diverse career spanning academia, military service, and the private sector. He served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and has held teaching positions in several universities. He is also known for his entrepreneurial ventures in various sectors.
