The International Association of Public Diplomacy Experts (IAPDE) is an international non-governmental organization aimed at the formation and development of a unified international space in the field of public diplomacy.[1]. The Association brings together diplomats, cultural, scientific, educational and artistic figures from Russia and other countries of the world[2]

History[edit]

The association was established on February 5, 2024. On February 10, the first General Meeting of the IAPDE members took place, during which a vote was held on the candidacy of the President of the Association[3]. Arthur Khachatryan was elected president of the IAPDE. During this meeting, the composition of the Association's board was also determined. It included high-ranking Russian diplomats and public figures from other states as Vice-Presidents.

On February 29, 2024, the IAPDE signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Association of Russian Diplomats. On the part of the ARD, the Agreement was signed by Chairman Khalevinsky, on the part of the IAPDE - by Arthur Khachatryan.

Goals[edit]

The Association's stated goals include:

  • Promoting intellectual, cultural, scientific and business potential of Russia abroad;
  • Formation and development of a single international space of agreement in the field of public diplomacy;
  • Strengthening Russia's advanced image on the world stage;
  • Promoting the formation of a multipolar world order through unique expert potential.
