Ida, Countes Consort of Klettgau(970's, was gräfin of Klettgau from their marriage at an unknown date, confirmed by a charter of the Muri Abbey, to her own death in 1028.

Ancestry[edit]

Some sources claim that she was stepsister of Kuno of Rhinefelden, making her the aunt of Rudolf of Rheinfelden Anti-king of Germany. Other sources claim that she was a daughter of the Robertian princess Beatrice of Paris and her husband, Frederick I, Duke of Upper Lorraine. If she is a relative of the Robertians, that that would make her a relative of Charlemange.

Issue[edit]

She married Radbot of Klettgau[3] and had four children.

Otto - Count of Sundgau. He was killed in 1045

Albert - Originally known as Albrecht, he died before 1050

Werner - Count of Klettgau and Habsburg. Ancestor of the Habsburg Dynasty, which grew dominant in areas like Austria, the Holy Roman Empire, and Spain

Richenza - A geneology paper names her as the daughter of Ida and Radbot.
