Hannah-Lisa Tetteh is an award-winning Ghanaian Doctor who is a health advocacy and health education.[1]
Education[edit]
She attended St. Theresa's School, where she was the health prefect. She had a secondary education at Holy Child School, Cape Coast, where she read science and was the senior girls' prefect in her final year.
She had her medical degree at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) where she was the general secretary of the Federation of Ghana Medical Students Association and then became the first female president of the federation.She pursued a master's in business administration at the University of Ghana Business School.
She had her postgraduate studies at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where she is the SRC president of welfare and EDI.[1][2][3]
Career[edit]
Dr. Hannah-Lisa had her house job at the Komfo Anokye teaching hospital and the Tema general hospital[4][5]. Then she became a resident medical officer at the Ghana ports and harbors authority.
She is the founder and executive lead of Health avail, Medical Services.[4] In 2022 she was appointed as the Vice CEO of the newly formed Tema United Beach Soccer Club.[6]
She is currently the host of Health and Vitality, a show that aims to give daily health tips to its viewers, and shows daily on joynews and Joy Pime. She's also an event coordinator, hosting corporate and social events, and works as a health influencer/ ambassador for brands to promote healthy products, a healthy lifestyle, and wellbeing. [4]
Awards and recognitions[edit]
- Dr. Hannah-Lisa Tetteh’s Health and Vitality show was named the TV Development Show of the Year at the 2021 Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards in Ghana.[7]
- She won the Ghana Outstanding Woman Advocate Award at the fifth edition of the Ghana Women Outstanding Awards in 2022.[8]
- She won the health personality of the year award at the 2023 Women's choice awards Africa.
