Eric Andres Perez is a Chilean - Canadian artist and musician.
Perez is the primary songwriter, lead singer and guitarist of the experimental rock group Blue. His performances are with bands under the name Wellkeptnothing and Blue, and also as a solo artist under the alias E A P, or "HUMAN".
Perez's primary instrument is the guitar. Perez also plays piano, violin, bass guitar, drums, and the melodica. In 2023, he released an album titled "Blue" (Extended Play) with his band Blue.
Perez released a full length solo studio album February 2, 2024 under the alias E A P. The album is titled Hyacinth Blue. All compositions and songs are written and performed by Perez and all songs are credited to, recorded, mastered and produced by Perez in affiliation with Raincloud Studios. The album is an experimental cross over with electronic and rock mixtures with ambient alternative sounds.
In an interview with ServingThePeople Magazine in 2011 (site article for info) Wellkeptnothing began in 2007. Wellkeptnothing later served as a blog turned into a poetry book and art project along with photographs which was set to release and was later cancelled by Perez. Perez's initial idea for Wellkeptnothing was to create a poem and take a photograph, or make art every day for 3 years consecutively. The book Wellkeptnothing created by Perez was a physical creation that he holds in his collection. Few unofficially released copies have emerged over the last 10 years of WELLKEPTNOTHING the book in North America which are extremely rare and hard to come by.
