Erastus Leonidas Elliott was a state legislator in Indiana. He was born in Mechanicsburg. He trained as a lawyer but went to work as a banker. He served in the lower house in 1894 and 1896. He was a Democrst like his father but became a Republican.

He was the son of Nimrod Richard Elliott.^[1]
