ART Engineering Gmbh is a German company known for designing amusement rides, based in Kirchzarten, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Background[edit]
First founded out of a basement in 2003, the company originally specialized in engineering and project management for special constructions. However, due to their ties to the theme park industry (namely the inclusion of ex-Mack Rides salesman Oliver Pierling), they eventually began designing and supplying attractions themselves.
The company has subcontracted Maurer AG, Mack Rides, Hamilton-based Kubes Steel, and Utah's Intermountain Lift to manufacture their roller coasters at various times.[1] In addition, they've frequently collaborated with Triotech and Lagotronics Projects to provide ride hardware and infrastructure for their interactive dark rides.[2][3]
