Dafoe is a surname. It is probably a variant of Defoe, which is of uncertain origin. It may be a variation of Foe or Fow[1] or an Anglicized form of a French name, possibly Thevoz,[2] de Vaux[3] or Devaux,[1] Dufau or Dufou.[1] Notable people with the surname include:
