Name of this category[edit]

This category currently contains only free web hosting providers. So I think it should be renamed to Free hosting providers. May be we can have other catergories as Shared web hosting providers, Virtual hosting providers etc. Any comments ? --Soft coder^Talk 05:28, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Where are non-free hosting providers categorised now? If we have too many articles for a single category, it may make sense to create subcategories. For now, it might make sense to rename this to a clearer name, such as "Internet hosting providers". Any change of name is effectively a category deletion and recreation, so it should be proposed on WP:CFD.-gadfium 05:39, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As an after thought, it might be ok to create a new category "Free hosting providers" and assign the currently listed articles in this catergoty to that. "Free hosting providers" can be made as a sub category of this category Category:Web hosting. Other categories like "Shared hosting providers", "Virtual hosting providers" can be made subcategory of this one. There are actually thousands of paid hosting providers, I am not sure if a category for each type of hosting is to be started here or not.

btw, I searched for major non free hosting providers but could'nt find any article for most of them. One of the site I found ThePlanet.com Internet Services, Inc. is still not categorised.--Soft coder^Talk 06:11, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
