What is this for?[edit]

If I might ask, what is this category for, because it does not say anywhere. Is it for cars that 'tour', which could feasibly be every car ever built? Is it for cars that have raced in touring car racing? If it is, that is an incredibly broad category. Agreed. Is this for touring cars, maybe even grand tourers, or is it for any car once entered in a touring car racing event (which is practically anything with wheels on)?
There are some very odd cars being added to this lately. The Alfa Romeo Alfasud is splendid fun to drive and was hard to beat on a track (in its day), but it's anything but a long distance cruiser. Andy Dingley (talk) 23:05, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
