Inappropriate category?[edit]

Most of the masks listed here are personal protective equipment, some of them are not specifically sporting equipment, eg, a Balaclava is worn to protect from cold, sporting use is incidental. Facekini is beachwear or outdoor wear for sun protection. No sporting activity implied. Diving masks are worn primarily as vision aids, secondarily as breathing apparatus, and in some cases, may be worn for recreational or sporting purposes, but are also used for professional non-sporting purposes. Hockey helmets are sporting equipment, but are not masks at all, as the face is not obscured significantly and they are worn on the head rather than the face. • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 05:41, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
