Thanks for pinging me, but what's the question behind this? If you're asking my opinion, no I don't consider the two words to be "completely different", in that much of our readership would think them synonymous. "Islam and Islamism are not synonymous". Islamism is a political ideology that also seeks the implementation of Sharia law, which is incompatible with modern-day Feminsim. Moreover, most of the figures on this category are Muslims, not necessarily Islamists. Should be renamed into "Muslim Feminists".

It's been so many years ago that I forgot I had created it. I see that it now has dozens of subcategories, which is a good sign. I'm well aware that Islam and Islamism are not synonymous; I usually see the first take the adjective "Islamic" and the latter "Islamist". I formed the category based on Islamic feminism and all the other articles we have containing "Islamic" (Peace in Islamic philosophy, Islamic eschatology, etc.). "Muslim" and "Islamic" share the same etymology, and "Islamic feminists" is attested in English literature (e.g. "The Rise of the Islamic Feminists" in The Nation). I reiterate that I have not categorised anyone as an "Islamist feminist"; the very concept strikes me as absurd. If you believe, for grammatical or other reasons, that "Islamic feminists" are better referred to as "Muslim feminists", I won't disagree. If you are not sure about making the changes, request help on the appropriate pages; I'd recommend Wikipedia:Teahouse or Wikipedia:Help desk. Good luck!
