Common sense would lead one to assume that Hackney Central is a more restricted area than Hackney. I am sceptical that there can be confidence that everyone previously listed as being from Hackney can accurately be described as being from Hackney Central. What was the rationale behind that move? Agreed. This change is ludicrous, and shows no understanding of UK local administration. I've had to move Gary Brooker out of this category because he wasn't born in Hackney Central and never lived there. There might be a case for moving the cat to London Borough of Hackney, but why?! What about people born in the 19th century when Hackney was just a village in Middlesex? - were they specifically from the area that is now "Hackney Central", and if they were, how would you know? --Pfold (talk) 09:52, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
