The Need for Chronological and Timeline Ordering[edit]

There is a need to distinguish between different mathematicians who have lived at different times. I feel (as would several others) that those mathematicians who have been alive during the 20th century (as eventful a century as what it was) deserve more of a mention that that which they are currently given.

Also, is there a way of ranking such mathematicians by the number of publications, or, indeed, are there any other methods and means that can be used for distinguishing between them (some mathematicians may have contributed original research, some mathematicians may have aided the development of key technologies within their nations...).
