Malcolm Arnold[edit]

It’s a pity that every time I saw Malcolm Arnold’s name on the credits I knew I’d be hearing a variation of the same score. Bridge On The River Kwai, Inn Of the Sixth Happiness, Heroes Of Telemark, almost identical in phrasing and themes. Some film composers, like Miklos Rosza, one recognised by his style and orchestrations, but his scores were never the same. Arnold was just an endless variation on a theme. Don’t know how he got away with it. Ptb2016 (talk) 21:53, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
