This category was already deleted once by admin Bearcat, here. This is an extremely minor director prone to attempted promotion on Wikipedia, and who has had several non-notable movie articles recently deleted. --Tenebrae (talk) 22:01, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This category was never deleted as it was never created before, what it was deleted was a redlink to a not(yet)-existing category. I am not doing any promotion to this director nor I am related in any way to him, and you are asked to go back on such an accusation. This kind of categories are an usual standards in Wikipedia and I myself created dozens of similar categories for other directors. It is not clear why it should be deleted as the three films that actually include are all notable, if he directed other non-notable movies that have been deleted this does not affect the current category. For the record, Cavarrone is correct that I never "deleted" this category at all. The only thing I did was to remove a redlinked category from a handful of articles, as it did not actually exist at the time and thus was not supposed to be left sitting on articles as a redlink. Articles are not allowed to be left filed in categories that don't exist — but now that the category has been created properly, my prior edits have no bearing on whether it should continue to exist or not.
Tenebrae, if you feel really strongly that this category should be deleted you're welcome to take it to WP:CFD for discussion, just as anyone is under standard Wikipedia procedure. But as currently constituted, it is not a candidate for speedy (especially not under a criterion which implies, incorrectly, that it's been deleted before.) My earlier edits were strictly housekeeping at a time when the category didn't exist at all, and had nothing to do with whether the category should exist or not.
