Is there any reliable source that says there was ever such a things as a "Colombanian order" or "Order of St Columbanus" in the early Middle Ages? I suspect that at best you mean something like "Saints in the Irish monastic missionary tradition", and at worst are the victim of a hoax claiming such an order goes back to the early Middle Ages. While Columbanus did write a monastic rule, he did not found a monastic order. --Andreas Philopater (talk) 13:57, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
