Name in 1959[edit]

At Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2012 May 4 this Category:1959 in the Central African Republic and earlier years were renamed to "Ubang-Shari". However, the article Central African Republic#Independence says that the new name came into effect with autonomy on 1 Dec 1958, before independence in 1960. If the proposer and closing admin agree then I think no further discussion would be needed for us to reverse the category redirect back to Category:1959 in the Central African Republic (for 1959 alone). – Fayenatic London (talk) 17:45, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This seems fines to me and matches of the names of the articles in the categories. There should probably be a note on the Ubangi-Shari article about the name change. Tim! (talk) 20:02, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
