Azademun (Persian: ازادمون), also Romanized as Āzādemūn, Azadmoon, and Āzādmūn,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Ahlamerestaq-e Shomali Rural District of the Central District of Mahmudabad County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,303 in 607 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,361 people in 712 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,318 people in 774 households.[2]
