Date of the vote[edit]

The 2024 European Parliament elections in Hungary will be held on 9 June 2024 as part of the 2024 European Parliament election.[3] This will be the first to take place after Brexit and on the same day as local elections.[4]

Background[edit]

The European Parliament considers Hungary a "hybrid regime of electoral autocracy" since 2022.[5]
