Woody Guthrie's Happy Joyous Hanukkah is an album by The Klezmatics , released in 2006.[4] It contains Hanukkah -themed songs, with most of the lyrics written by American folk singer Woody Guthrie in 1949.
Critical reception [ edit ]
AllMusic wrote that the album "largely lives up to its name, stacked with uptempo, celebratory, often quite clever tributes to the festive Jewish holiday."[2] The Sun Sentinel called the album "a fascinating project."[1]
