Wikipedia:WikiProject CrimeaWP:WikiProject Ukraine/Crimea Task Force — I believe this subproject of WP:UKRAINE should become a task force of WP:UKRAINE, since nothing banners WPCRIMEA, and there's been virtually no activity for 3 years. It should become tagged to the {{WPUKRAINE}} banner as a task force. 76.65.128.132 (talk) 09:11, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. It is obviously a dead project now... and not worthy the name "Project"… Hopefully designating it a task force will bring some live into it. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 16:30, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. per above. Sad to say, but there is really no motivation in WP:UKRAINE either... could be revived but we need new wiki contributors. --dsergienko (talk) 16:45, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. With the few supporters that both projects have, every effort should be made towards cross-cooperation. Shrigley (talk) 23:29, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion[edit]

Any additional comments:
  • I did not know there was a WikiProject Crimea.--Toddy1 (talk) 21:34, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am almost sure I put a note about the creation of it on the WikiProject Ukraine Talkpage back in 2009... But I can't find it back.... Mabey it should have been better promoted... (in my defence I did not start WikiProject Crimea ). — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 21:54, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just found out there is a Wikipedia:WikiProject Eastern Europe... Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 21:59, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any way a bot could automaticly do this for all Crimea related articles? — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 17:42, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You can make a request at WP:BOTREQ. 76.65.128.132 (talk) 06:25, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Project Crimea from Russian Wiki invites for cooperation[edit]

Dear participants of the English Wikipedia. During the recent Türk marathon, more than 100 high-quality articles on the Crimean Tatars and their culture were created. The Russian project of Crimea already has more than 100 solid (special status) articles and several dozen good articles. Use the Wiki translator to create and supplement articles about Crimea on the English wiki.--Трифонов Андрей (talk) 13:20, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Трифонов Андрей: Thank you for your work creating Crimean Tatar biographies on Russian wikipedia. I have put many of them in the to-do list in my sandbox and am currently working on expanding the article for Rollan Qadiyev.--PlanespotterA320 (talk) 19:12, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

1991-2014 Ukraine Reload[edit]

Crimea (Ukraine) requires drastic changes --178.34.158.86 (talk) 09:49, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No knowledgeable citizen has ever been to the Crimean Peninsula. --178.34.187.138 (talk) 11:41, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Projectify[edit]

Considering the fact that Crimea is a disputed territory and has changed status many times, many Crimea-related articles don't fit well into Wikiproject Ukraine at all (like all the Crimean Tatar exiles who never lived in the Ukrainian SSR or independent Ukraine, like Uzeir Abduramanov). In addition, this is a hot issue, and we can expect more active editors on the subject in the future as we try to complete the many missing articles and expand existing ones. Overall, just feels weird labeling a lot of Crimea-related articles as part of Wikiproject Ukraine, and would be a lot better to be a project of its own.--PlanespotterA320 (talk) 19:09, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
