Leaderboard[edit]

No problems with the leaderboard concept...good idea! Just one question. The WikiWork stuff...I read through the subpage describing it. And, to boot, I'm terrible at statistics. One should probably write a very simple layman's explanation of what the values mean. Because I have no idea what it means. --Son (talk) 00:52, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

State update section[edit]

I think for one issue every year, the state update section should be dropped in favor of an "editor update" section. I know I've griped in the past (in other forums) about the same states being in the state update section every issue, but so far we don't even have that – just one state so far. This idea is about keeping the newsletter fresh so we actually want to update it. I don't want to see it die because of apathy again. –Fredddie 00:26, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User interviews[edit]

Are these for everyone to fill out, or just "new" users? I have seen editors that have been with us for awhile filling them in. Allen (Morriswa) (talk) 23:13, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Some specific editors were invited to participate, based mostly on newness to the project. Imzadi 1979  23:27, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Lateness[edit]

So when are you publishing? It says the deadline was mid April... A month and a half ago. Rcsprinter123 (cackle) @ 21:56, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Rcsprinter123: the newsletter editors cannot put together issues without content. If you would like to contribute features, please do so, but I will not write full newsletter issues by myself just to make a deadline. Imzadi 1979  21:59, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

@Imzadi1979: (Specifically pinging you cause you seem most active here) I've just recently joined the WikiProject (although I've been editing for just a tiny bit longer as an unofficial member) and started looking around. I've noticed several areas lacking and this one took to my attention the most. I was wondering if we got enough participation would you consider participating/publishing. Potentially bringing attention back to the WikiProject (and no I'm not saying use it as promotion/advertising but people may see it and be like "U.S. Roads newsletter? Oh yeah I remember that!" bringing their attention it). It appeared it was once a great project but that participation has significantly went down recently. TheDoctorWho (talk) 04:01, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As before, TheDoctorWho, if there is content, we can publish. Imzadi 1979  04:03, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Imzadi1979: I saw the last reply however that was three years agoo so I was not sure if your views had changed. I'll see what I can do. TheDoctorWho (talk) 04:12, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
