- The map is inaccurate: a) it doesn't show the Ossetian village Kosta-Khetagurovo (aka Laba) in Karachay-Cherkes Republic; b) it shows all of the South Ossetia and part of a neighbouring territory as "De facto" ("de facto independent" they mean?), while the Tskhinval authorities do not control all of the territory of the former autonomous region. SO location map[edit]
Do you agree with new location map for SO. If yes, please choose of two maps.

- Agree I agree because the nominates have svg formats. svg is convinient for maps. The nominates are similiar to most of location maps commons:Category:Location maps (2008 standard)
Dzaw
- I like the one with rivers. This map will be better for small countries, such as SO. Right now you just see that, for example, Dzaw is located in the center of Dzaw district. But if we choose the map showing rivers, we will see that Dzaw is lying on the Greater Liakhvi River. What do you think? P.S. The second one is also good. Taamu (talk) 15:50, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

- Agree. We should also find the border coordinates for the image (showing rivers) in order to make it work. Do you think you could fix it? I'm not good at that. If you cannot do it, I'll try to find it by myself. BTW where did you get that image? It will be great if you upload one more for NO! Taamu (talk) 16:29, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
