Cat alpha sort within national sub-cats[edit]

Hopefully, the section title says it all. :) Within say, Category:Orders, decorations, and medals of the Czech Republic, should Order of the White Lion be alpha sorted under O-for order, W-for white or L-for lion? — MrDolomite • Talk 20:50, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Order of the White Lion should probably be sub-categorised within the national category, in something like Category:Orders of the Czech Republic (see the main talk page for a proposed ODM categorisation scheme). These schemes get a little tricky when there is only one Czech award listed, but I think that the principle is sound. Given this, 'Order of the...' becomes a non-defining part of the title. W-for-White is probably the best letter to choose.
