WikiProject East Timor page makeover

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone would like for me to do a makeover for the WikiProject East Timor page? It will look really good. Let me know if you all are interested. Regards. Wiki Raja (talk) 04:55, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Yeah - why not? Let's try. --Merbabu (talk) 09:07, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Sounds good - what are you planning? Nick-D (talk) 09:32, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
So long as you don't use any Fixed-width tables like the ones on your userpage. =) But yeah, maybe you could do a mockup in your userspace and we can give feedback? Cheers. Scartol • Tok 12:21, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Great. Will let you know in a week. Wiki Raja (talk) 06:48, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

WikiProject East Timor page makeover complete

Hi,

Please let me know what you all think of this new and improved page here for WikiProject East Timor. If you all like it, then I'll go ahead and merge this page and create a Portal:East Timor as well. Regards. Wiki Raja (talk) 09:27, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

I like it — thanks for your hard work on this. I'm a little concerned about the right-side box. The chart of different article qualities, for example, sticks out on my monitor, and looks unsightly. The (edit) buttons also push right up against that sidebar; any way to put some space in there? Cheers! Scartol • Tok 15:22, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Looks good. --J. Patrick Fischer (talk) 21:02, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, there's really nothing much that can be done to move the (edit) buttons a little bit away from the sidebar. However, what's been done was the merging of the FA, GA, and DYks sub-sections under the section for Assessment articles. This should make it look less cluttered with fewer (edit) buttons. As for the chart of different article qualities what was done, it was centered. Let me know how it looks on your computer. That is pretty much that can be done for now. Other than that, if you all like the the makeover and would like for me to go ahead and merge the existing Main page with the new one, please let me know. Thanks. Wiki Raja (talk) 04:30, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
This is how it looks on my screen. We should make the right-side box wide enough to encompass the article-quality chart on all monitors. I'll look at the code and see if there's a way to give the box a little more breathing room re: edit buttons. (I can't believe it's impossible to put a margin there.) Scartol • Tok 12:34, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
I've got an idea. How about we create an extra tab for Assessments and put the box on that page separately? Wiki Raja (talk) 21:34, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

I've managed to widen the sidebar box a little here. Please let me know how it looks. Regards. Wiki Raja (talk) 00:31, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

The problem with the template may have been that it was created as a "Wikipedia" page instead of a "template" page. Hopefully, it should be alright now. But, if the assessment box still sticks out of the sidebar, please let me know and I'll just make the sidbar box a little bit wider. Wiki Raja (talk) 11:47, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, it still sticks out of the sidebar. Why don't we just put the statistics box on the left side of the page, instead of cramming it into the sidebar? I think that's more sensible in either case. Scartol • Tok 16:19, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
How does this look here? Or, perhaps would it be a good idea to create an extra tab called Assessments? Wiki Raja (talk) 21:53, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Coordinators' working group

Hi! I'd like to draw your attention to the new WikiProject coordinators' working group, an effort to bring both official and unofficial WikiProject coordinators together so that the projects can more easily develop consensus and collaborate. This group has been created after discussion regarding possible changes to the A-Class review system, and that may be one of the first things discussed by interested coordinators.

All designated project coordinators are invited to join this working group. If your project hasn't formally designated any editors as coordinators, but you are someone who regularly deals with coordination tasks in the project, please feel free to join as well. — Delievered by §hepBot (Disable) on behalf of the WikiProject coordinators' working group at 05:19, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

This is a notice to let you know about Article alerts, a fully-automated subscription-based news delivery system designed to notify WikiProjects and Taskforces when articles are entering Articles for deletion, Requests for comment, Peer review and other workflows (full list). The reports are updated on a daily basis, and provide brief summaries of what happened, with relevant links to discussion or results when possible. A certain degree of customization is available; WikiProjects and Taskforces can choose which workflows to include, have individual reports generated for each workflow, have deletion discussion transcluded on the reports, and so on. An example of a customized report can be found here.

If you are already subscribed to Article Alerts, it is now easier to report bugs and request new features. We are also in the process of implementing a "news system", which would let projects know about ongoing discussions on a wikipedia-wide level, and other things of interest. The developers also note that some subscribing WikiProjects and Taskforces use the display=none parameter, but forget to give a link to their alert page. Your alert page should be located at "Wikipedia:PROJECT-OR-TASKFORCE-HOMEPAGE/Article alerts". Questions and feedback should be left at Wikipedia talk:Article alerts.

Project

It is my firm belief that a project however active or inactive cannot have any idea of what it is or where it is going unless it has its categories tagged. If it contravenes the idea of the melanesia task force - too bad - that was never managed well at all with tags being never kept properly - the point is if you want an assessable project with a sense of things being in order for good project management - a consistent tagging of all categories is needed - so it has been started. cheers SatuSuro 14:04, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Parliament 2007-

There is a list of the members of the first parliament in the article, but a list of the current parliament members is missing. I have tried to find a list but not succeeded. Somebody that could provide one? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.228.24.135 (talk) 18:47, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
