Biographies[edit]

  • "Beginnings"
  • some kind of section detailing the article subject's pre::*debut life; titles may vary (although we should probably agree on a select few)
  • I'd rather call it 'Early Life'
  • Career
  • music, film, etc.
  • I think endorsements and music style should be under the Career section.Skyezx 09:19, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Musical style
  • if applicable and if verifiable sources exist. But if you're just paraphrasing things off the CD booklet, then I don't think that's going to be a problem. It's not like you have to prove that David Tao composed a song.
  • Public perception
  • includes controversies, media praise and criticism
    • Image
  • if possible (note* not all artists will have sources on their image, but you can include sources that describe their character in some way)
  • An imaged should be included in the infobox... additional pictures may be hard to come by, if that's what you meant
  • Death and legacy
  • Discography
  • I'd strongly discourage a discography section within the article, but if it's small like that of Jane Zhang (who has only two albums so far, and whose discography would not really take up any space), I guess we can just leave it. However, should the discography be split off to another article (e.g. Leon Lai discography), then we're going to have to link it within the Music Career section.
  • Filmography
  • see Discography above. If it's short enough, let it be.
  • Major Concerts list only MAJOR PERFORMANCES. (any input as to what constitutes as major?) Prose here I guess would be optional.
  • Endorsements
  • a full listing of endorsements is highly discouraged (not to mention it'd be horrendously long). Should be included under the "Public perception" section, or written as prose under its own "Endorsements" section.
  • Notes
  • includes non-reference footnotes
  • References
  • External Links
  • we should probably be more specific about which ones are acceptable
  • Navigation boxes, if applicable

TV Shows[edit]

  • we could probably (read:should) adapt this infobox to fit the wikiproject
  • Brief description
  • Cast
  • Synopsis / Plot
  • Ratings
  • someone is always keen to put these on for the TVB serieses
  • References
  • External Links

not to be intruding on this space[edit]

But for television, would a "pre-production" section be too far-fetched? Because I know occasionally there are production notes here and there, just that few people tend to notice. Pandacomics (talk) 14:43, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm one of those who don't notice. xP ...or perhaps I just don't know what you meant by "production notes." Skyezx 09:19, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Awards[edit]

What would be a good notability standard for awards? Rankings (like the MSN messenger, Next Magazine Award Top Ten Artistes on Charmaine Sheh's page) should be out in my opinion. Skyezx (talk) 09:16, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
