Sad face[edit]

Per Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2015 August 26#Wikipedia:(, the sad face shortcut WP:( now redirects here rather than Wikipedia:Vandalism. A link to the latter page has been added onto this project page to cater for readers who may be using the shortcut for the "sad face" meaning. Deryck C. 09:34, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Spinningspark, Steel1943, and Rich Farmbrough: WP:( has been redirected to Wikipedia:Vandalism since 2006 and has survived 2 RfDs. I would rather not remove this sentimental value from Wikipedia altogether. Deryck C. 10:06, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I stand by what I said in my edit summary removing it, the link is completely tenuous. Nobody in their right mind is going to type that thinking they might get WP:Vandalism. SpinningSpark 13:27, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There are 24 links to WP:( - removing the hat-note makes them WP:EASTER EGGS. There are precisely zero links to this dab page that are unrelated to WP:(. All the best: Rich Farmbrough, 14:23, 26 October 2015 (UTC).[reply]

Actually WP:) redirects to WP:Silly things. So there are many Wikipedians who think that way... Deryck C. 21:19, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
