Merge discussion[edit]

Wikipedia:Paid editing (guideline) and Wikipedia:Paid editing (policy) cover the same area, and both are attempting to do the same thing - provide information on paid editing, and work on a consensusal approach for how Wikipedia deals with it. Both are being edited, and both have active discussions, and both are being disputed. It would be appropriate for all discussions, disputes and editing to take place in one location. It seems to me that neither are active, and that both have failed.
Even if they were active, they were split for a reason: to let opposing camps write what they wanted, and see if it could gain consensus. Consequently, a merge seems counterproductive. WhatamIdoing (talk) 05:17, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
