…should as a courtesy, create a stub of a user page, so that other Wikipedians can see who it is they might be meeting with. As it stands, the event gives the impression of a group of non-Wikipedians gathering to add content—compare number of new to established editors in the signup—perhaps to steer articles in question in directions supportive of the institution, and seeking an imprimatur of respectability for the effort by establishing it as a formal WP meet-up (inappropriate, venerable and important though the Institution and subject matter are). 71.239.87.100 (talk) 15:02, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
