Question regarding FA approval[edit]

When and if this article gets approved, I'm assuming it will be displayed on the main English Wikipedia page. If that's the case, is there any way to delay this until I finalize a deal with Wikimedia proposed at Village pump? It involves a fundraiser I'm doing for Azafady that will benefit my career, send me to Madagascar to do some volunteer work and give me a strong incentive to re-write and enhance as many lemur articles as possible over the next year. As the proposal states, I've emailed Wikimedia with the idea, and so far a volunteer has given a tentative thumbs-up with a promise that an official reply would come soon. If I can work something out with Wikimedia that even involves mentioning my fundraiser on either my user page or WP:PRIMATES, a FA about such a popular lemur might result in more people noticing my fundraiser. (I know it's a shot in the dark, but every little bit counts.) - Visionholder (talk) 08:39, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
