Examines the role of mass persuasion in global affairs from the end of World War II to the present day. The topics include propaganda’s role in the Cold War, the wars in Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, war in Iraq and the war on terrorism. I hope to use this project to develop students’ ability to detect bias in media, determine the author’s intent, and suggest ways to correct it.
