Rhhslv (talk) (I would like to revise the current Wikipedia page called "Holistic Grading," which Wikipedia editors call "a stub" that needs filling out (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holistic_grading). The revamping would include a full description of different kinds of holistic scoring of essays, a history of holistic scoring in Great Britain and the USA, and an account of current uses of the scoring technique in industry and education. The revision would be based on my and Norbert Elliot's book Early History of Holistic Scoring (Utah State UP, 2019) and our annotated bibliography, "Historic Scoring of Written Discourse to 1985," WPA-CompPile Research Bibliography, No. 27.
