Troop engagements of the American Civil War, 1863[edit]
I am seeking to pass this article for AL class. It is a listing of American Civil War engagements for the year 1863. Wild Wolf (talk) 17:21, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Should you fix all issues listed at the list's talk page?
- Add alt text to the images per MOS:IMAGES and WP:ALT
- Avoid bold links per WP:CONTEXTLINK
- I think that the bullets, and everything in the sections, should be put as a table.
- Link states
- Categories should be sorted in alphabetical order

- Comments:
- in the lead, Joseph Hooker could probably be linked, as could Meade, Grant, Bragg and Rosecrans;
- "simultaneous Union offenses" --> " simultaneous Union offensives";
- "French invasion of Mexico" should probably be linked;
- I suggest changing your second level header as it just repeats the title of the list/article. "Engagements" would be fine, or you could just get rid of it altogether. It would be best to be consistent across all five lists, whatever you decide to do, though;
- if possible, please add places of publication for Castel, Cozzens, Kennedy, Longacre, Sears and Wittenberg;
- page numbers should be added for the Crew work;
- "File:CSBayouCity-capturesLane.jpg" should probably have a date listed for when it was created, although its licencing seems fine to me even without this information;
- "File:Battle of Port Hudson Davidson.jpg", this probably needs a US PD tag added to its licencing. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 08:30, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
