The October 2013 BPL coordinator and vice scoped in for elections will take place between October 7th, 2013 and October 20, 2013.

What the jobs are[edit]

  • Coordinator – keeps "to-do" list up to date, and nominates an article for improvement monthly
  • Vice coordinator – does the above tasks in the Absence of the Coors

Voting[edit]

Voting will take place between 0:00, October 7th 2013 UTC, and finish at 0:00, 21th October UTC. You may only make up to 2 support and 2 oppose !votes.

Nominating[edit]

You can either nominate yourself, or be nominated by others. You need to write a short statement, stating why you will be good at the job.

It would be better if I could be a Co-ordinator or Vice Co-ordinator. The reasons for being one are:

  • I will be good because first of all, I am a cricket loving person and am aware of all the rules and regulations of cricket.
  • I try to watch all the matches of BPL live or at least watch the highlights. So, if the question is having information (yes, it can also be gathered from websites), I can be of help.
  • I haven't been able to render to Bangladesh related articles that much. So, I would like to use this opportunity.
  • I will always abide by the rules of this WikiProject as well as of the Wikipedia.
  • If articles need improvement, I will do it. If references are to be collected, then I will do that as well.
  • And most importantly, as being nominated for one post is a duty, my works will show what I am all about and what I am capable of.

I want to be a Co-ordinator or Vice Co-ordinator for Wikiproject Bangladesh Premier League. I'll be good in one of this post, cause;

  • I am the founder of this Project.
  • I have watched one and every match of BPL in TV and know every rule of BPL.
  • I am an experienced user with 18,000+ edits and I'm here in wiki for 1 year 9 months.
  • I have the experience of being a co-ordinator of this project. Founder does the job of co-ordinator in the absence of a co-ordinator. So as I'm the founder till 21th October I'm the acting co-ordinator of this project. So I have a good experience.
  • I have organized an IRC meeting in our official channel #wikipedia-wikiproject-BPL connect which was also created by me.

Up there is some of my reason for nominating myself as a candidate for Co-ordinator and Vice Co-ordinator. I'll always follow the rule of Wikiproject BPL.

  1. Support – Extremely dedicated and hard working Wikipedian. Its not that he is the only dedicated and hard working one but thats not the point, he is by far the most dedicated WP:BPL member. The fact that he is the founder consolidates the reason for supporting him. The man came up with the idea, its his child. He will god damn try his best (out of love for it, if not its his duty) in preventing the WP:Project from becoming inactive. The project is still in its early phases and Pratyya is the befitting candidate to play the role of a doting father, the Co Ordinator Sohambanerjee1998 15:10, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Support: I think it would be the best decision if Pratyaa is elected as the Co Ordinator. I'm saying this not only because he is the founder but I saw that he is quite hard-working and free frank. I found the user is active in 2-3 languages of Wikipedia, he gives importance to every pages in which he is in-charged, if any user edits his works for improvement, first he monitors it, if satisfied, he thanks that user for support. But the main reason for my support is, he encourages most of the Wikipedian to pay attention and join WP:BPL as in case of me, I have received two invitation offers to join.
